The idea of Café Cameroon came about
after one Quinnipiac University SIFE student saw a Bawa Health Initiative
presentation given by Quinnipiac Biology Professor, Dennis Richardson. Since
that moment, a group of Quinnipiac University SIFE students have made it their
mission to improve life for the villagers of Bawa. They plan on using the
profits from the coffee to help fund a health center in the village of Bawa. What
started as a discussion at an ordinary meeting has turned into what Café Cameroon
is today. With sales of about 2000
dollars in its first month, Café Cameroon is poised to be a sign of hope and
change for all villagers of Bawa.
